Kupwara (Jammu and Kashmir) [India], September 18 (ANI): Awami Ittehad Party (AIP) President Engineer Rashid, said on Tuesday that he will file an application against Sajad Gani Lone in a court in Delhi over his “not in jail” allegations.
People’s Conference President Sajad Lone reportedly alleged on Monday that Engineer Rashid “was not in jail for the past two months.”
“… I am going to file an application against him (Sajad Lone) in Delhi court that he has said all this about me… How is it possible? Answering this question is like reducing my stature…,” Rashid, who is out on bail till October 2, told reporters in Kupwara on Tuesday.
He was responding to the queries on filing a case against Sajad Lone over his allegations.
Rashid added, “If his allegations are found to be true, then action would be taken against the jail officials, and if not, then action would be taken against him (Sajad Lone).”
