Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh) [India], November 12 (ANI): Samajwadi Party (SP) chief Akhilesh Yadav lashed out at the Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath-led BJP government in the state over the massive protest by aspirants against Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) exam dates.
The SP chief described the agitation from the aspirants as ‘Yogi vs competitor students’! and questioned whether the state government would now run a bulldozer on the students’ lodges or hostels.
Akhilesh Yadav said that the ‘rise of the students will be the fall of the BJP,’ and posted, “Unhone chalaya lathi-danda ‘Naukri’ nahi jinka agenda.”
Taking to his official handle on X, SP supremo Akhilesh Yadav said, “The atmosphere has become ‘Yogi vs competitor students’! Today, the thing that is on the lips of every candidate for competitive exams in Uttar Pradesh, every student, every young man and woman: Jobs are not on the BJP’s agenda’!”
“Unhone chalaya lathi-danda ‘Naukri’ nahi jinka agenda,” said the post from Akhilesh Yadav.
“Nahi chahiye anupyogi sarkar. Bhajpa sarkar nahi dhikkaar hai. Ayogya logo ka ayogya aayog nahi chahiye,” it said.
The SP chief criticized the BJP for using communal politics to distract the public and keep them focused on the struggle for livelihood, allowing the party’s leaders to continue engaging in corruption.
He pointed out that for years, either job vacancies remained unfilled or the examination process was delayed, claiming that the government failed to address key issues affecting the people.
“The people of BJP do politics to keep the people engaged in the struggle for livelihood so that BJP people can continue to indulge in corruption under the guise of communal politics. For years, either vacancies have not been released or the examination process is not completed,” the post said.
“BJP has taken the students away from their study desks and made them stand on the streets. These angry candidates and their disappointed families are now becoming the biggest challenge for the BJP. The employed, educated middle class is no longer going to be emotionally swayed by the BJP,” it said.
Adding further, Yadav said in the post, “Now even the parents who were victims of the false BJP propaganda on WhatsApp groups have understood how the BJP has exploited them emotionally to gain and save its power. Now these people are also not going to fall into the trap of BJP’s negative politics and are embracing ‘positive politics that unites’ by rejecting the divisive communal politics. Now no one is ready to become a mental slave of the BJP. Now everyone has understood that nothing is going to happen under the BJP government.”
“The rise of students lies in the downfall of the BJP. There is a contradictory relationship between the BJP and jobs. Jobs will come only when the BJP goes. Now will the BJP government run a bulldozer on the students’ hostels or lodges? If the BJP had run the government with the same intensity with which it is running the bulldozer of injustice, then today the BJP members would not have to hide in their homes, fearing the student anger,” said the post.
“Scared by the anger of the protesters, the BJP flags have been removed from the houses, shops, establishments and vehicles of the BJP members. The protesting youth are asking loudly, ‘Where are the leaders and workers of the BJP, which claims to be the world’s largest party, now missing?’ Do they come out only to divide the society? At a time when it is time to add voice to the voice of the students, these BJP members are reaping the benefits of power somewhere in hiding. The time of negative BJP and its negative false politics is over,” said Akhilesh Yadav.
Meanwhile, aspirants continued their protest on Tuesday outside the UPPSC office, demanding that the PCS and RO/ARO exams be held in a single day and one shift.
The students are protesting against the upcoming exams and are demanding that tests be conducted in a single shift, as previously done. (ANI)
