Agartala (Tripura) [India], August 6 (ANI): Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha paid a visit to the State Load Dispatch Centre (SLDC) located in the 79 Tilla area of Agartala on Tuesday.
During his visit, he closely examined the advanced management systems that are required for the efficient supply and distribution of electricity to the key areas of the state.
Speaking to the reporters there, Saha briefed about the various measures taken by the state government to ensure uninterrupted power supply across the state, as well as the future plans for further improvements in the electricity sector.
These initiatives underscore the government’s commitment to enhancing the power supply system for the benefit of the public.
He was accompanied by the Power Minister of Tripura Ratan Lal Nath, MD of the electricity supply corporation, Tripura State Electricity Corporation Limited (TSECL), Biswajit Basu, and other senior divisional officers.
Taking to X, Saha said, “Today visited the State Load Dispatch Centre, 79 Tilla, Agartala & inspected the modern power distribution system and relevant matters. Also addressed the media regarding initiatives taken & future plans for ensuring uninterrupted power supply.”
Earlier, Saha also announced the construction of a 6.5-kilometre road connecting Kirtantali to Dak Bunglow in Kailashahar as a part of the efforts to strengthen road infrastructure in the state.
The road would be constructed under the special assistance to state capital investment, Saha further stated.
“As part of our committed efforts towards strengthening road infrastructure, this 6.5-km road has been built from Kirtantali to Dak Bunglow in Kailashahar. Constructed under the Special Assistance to State Capital Investment, this road will largely benefit the people of this region,” Saha said in X. (ANI)
