Patna (Bihar) [India], September 12 (ANI): Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national spokesperson Syed Shahnawaz Hussain on Friday slammed Congress over an AI-generated video featuring Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his late mother, labelling it as an insult to women of the nation.
Labelling Congress’s conduct as “petty and shameless”, Hussain said that the entire country remains outraged over the video posted by the opposition party’s Bihar unit on its official handle.
“Congress is not shying away from shamelessness. They are not shying away from petty conduct. On one hand, they abuse him with the national flag in the background, and on the other hand, they release his video to justify it, instead of apologising. They are insulting the PM and his mother, as well as the women of the country. Entire Bihar and the country are outraged over this petty conduct of the Congress. Congress will get a reply for this,” Hussain told ANI.

The Congress has come under fire once again, even as the recent controversy over alleged abuses hurled at PM Modi and his mother by a man during the ‘Voter Adhikaar Rally’ in Bihar’s Darbhanga had barely subsided.
The BJP had launched a massive attack against the opposition parties, especially Congress and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) and its leaders Rahul Gandhi and Tejashwi Yadav, over alleged abuses hurled against PM Modi’s mother.
Meanwhile, Congress has projected its criticism against PM Modi through an AI-generated video, where the PM’s late mother is shown to be critical of politics being done in her name.
Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also hit out at the RJD and Congress over the alleged remarks against her mother. Speaking at an event, he said that the abusive comments were not just an insult to his mother, but to all mothers, sisters and daughters of the country.
PM Modi stated that he had never imagined that such an act would take place on the tradition-rich land of Bihar. He also termed mothers as everyone’s “self-respect” and “world”.
“Mother is our world. Mother is our self-respect. I had not even imagined what happened a few days ago in this tradition-rich Bihar. My mother was abused from the stage of the RJD-Congress in Bihar. These abuses are not just an insult to my mother. These are insults to the mothers, sisters and daughters of the country. I know how bad all of you, every mother of Bihar, felt after seeing and hearing this! I know, as much pain as I have in my heart, the people of Bihar are also in the same pain,” he said.
The Prime Minister stated that he was separated from his mother so that he could serve the country’s other women. He stated that his mother, who passed away after completing 100 years and had nothing to do with politics, was abused by the state of RJD and Congress. (ANI)
