New Delhi [India], July 18 (ANI): ‘Panchjanya’ magazine successfully organised ‘Sushasan Samvad Chhattisgarh’ in the national capital on Thursday.
The event was held at the Ashoka Hotel in Delhi. Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai, Home Minister Vijay Sharma and Finance Minister OP Choudhary were also present on the occasion.
The ‘Sushasan Samvad Chhattisgarh’ programme served as a platform for thoughtful discussions on administrative issues important for the development and prosperity of the state.

The programme commenced with the lighting of lamps and was followed by discussions related to the progress of the state.
Panchjanya Editor Hitesh Shankar presented the outline of the programme to the people and said the issues of Chhattisgarh often get neglected but it is important to talk about the state on the national platform.
“By describing Chhattisgarh as a small state, its problems often do not get raised properly on the national platform. But the truth is that Chhattisgarh is not a small state, but is one and a half times bigger than Bihar and Naya Raipur is one of the most modern cities in the world. Hence, it is necessary to talk about Chhattisgarh on the national platform,” Shankar said.
The first session of the programme was dedicated to the Naxal-affected areas and villages of Chhattisgarh, in which senior journalist Prakhar Srivastava and child rights activist Bhuvan Ribhu were the keynote speakers.

After this, the programme was graced by Chhattisgarh Finance Minister OP Choudhary. He presented the vision of a new Chhattisgarh with a new vision.
“Prime Minister Modi’s goal is to make India developed by 2047 and the Chhattisgarh government is also working rapidly in that direction,” the minister said.
In the next session of the programme, Chhattisgarh Home Minister Vijay Sharma presented the account of the work being done for the development of the state to the public.
Addressing the Panchjanya’s Sushasan Samvad Chhattisgarh programme, Vijay Sharma said, “The Naxalite agenda of Chhattisgarh is exaggerated. In my view, the Naxalites have no agenda. We have taken many necessary steps to end naxalism, and I assure you that in the next 2-3 years you will definitely be able to enjoy sitting on the banks of the Indravati River in Bastar.”
On this occasion, Chhattisgarh CM, Vishnu Dev Sai, elaborated upon the development journey of the state.
“God has created Chhattisgarh with great delicacy. The state has huge potential for natural and mineral wealth. We are also doing research on the forest wealth of the state and in the coming time. This wealth of ours will play a huge role in taking the development of the state to the next level,” CM Sai said.
The programme concluded with an award ceremony. Senior litterateur Rajiv Ranjan was honoured by the Chief Minister for his invaluable contribution and Doordarshan cameraman Achyutananda Sahu, who lost his life during coverage in Naxal-affected areas, was also honoured posthumously. (ANI)
