New Delhi [India] August 3 (ANI): Delhi Police conducted an anti-terrorist mock drill at Shyam Lal College near Shahdara police station.
The scenario of the mock drill was to prevent a terrorist attack on the college, police said.
In the mock drill on Friday, three terrorists entered Shyam Lal College after firing at the guard and further taking some college students hostage.
Soon after a call to the Police Control Room (PCR), Fire tenders, Ambulance Beta-171 and Beta-20, Special Staff, Bomb Diffusion Squad (BDS), and Crime team with Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) experts participated in this mock drill.
According to the press release, the injured guard was immediately rushed to the GTB hospital for his treatment. Thereafter the check of the whole premises was done by the BDS and crime team and after a thorough search, the terrorists were overpowered by the local police staff and were apprehended from the classroom without any casualty.
The dummy bomb was also recovered from the classroom which was found without explosives. (ANI)
