New Delhi [India], April 4 (ANI): Aam Aadmi Party leader Sanjay Singh who walked out of Tihar Jail earlier this week said that the Bharatiya Janata Party should not remain under any misconception that they will become successful in achieving their objectives by keeping Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and senior party leaders in jail.
Sanjay Singh said that he utilised his time in jail by studying the lives of Nelson Mandela, Bhagat Singh and Mahatma Gandhi.
“I definitely missed the party and the party workers. During the last 6 months, I used my time to read different books, it was a good use of my time. I read about Nelson Mandela, Bhagat Singh and Mahatma Gandhi. I got a lot of strength from this. After reading them I felt that anyone who works to save democracy will have to endure torture,” Sanjay Singh told ANI on Thursday.
Singh further said that AAP workers will continue their fight to save the democracy in the country.
“To save democracy in India, to take forward Arvind Kejriwal’s fight ahead. BJP should not be under the misconception that by keeping Kejriwal ji, Manish Sisodia ji and Satyender Jain ji in jail they will be successful. I am a worker of the party and will follow its directions,” he said.
