Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Ravi Shankar Prasad stated, “Information was received in Wajidpur village under Thana Dadon that some individuals have damaged Baba Saheb’s statue. We visited the spot and inspected it. It has been established that two individuals on a bike damaged one finger on the right hand of Baba Saheb’s statue. We have registered a case under the appropriate sections. The bike has been recovered, and the individuals have been identified. Three teams have been formed to apprehend them, and legal action will be taken.”
