Tirupati (Andhra Pradesh) [India] August 7 (ANI): Two persons were killed after a bus rammed the two-wheeler they were travelling on at Tirumala Ghat Road in Tirupati district of Andhra Pradesh, police said on Wednesday.
The duo died on the spot after the mishap, police said.
The deceased belonged to Tamil Nadu, they said.
A police case has been registered in connection with the incident and an investigation initiated.
Earlier in Kakinda district of Andhra Pradesh, two people lost their lives after a car hit their bike near the Kalpana Centre.
Police arrived at the scene and shifted the injured to the Kakinada Government Hospital.
In May this year six people were killed and five others were injured in a road accident at Seetanapally in Andhra Pradesh’s Krithivennu Mandal.
Machilipatnam DSP Subhani said, “The mini truck rammed into the container lorry while overtaking a tractor carrying wooden logs. Five people died on the spot, while another died en route to the hospital..” (ANI)
