New Delhi [India], April 8 (ANI): Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Tuesday said that he is “overjoyed” to announce that the Odisha government has signed MoUs with Petronet LNG, Indian Strategic Petroleum Reserves Limited, and several other companies under IOCL (Indian Oil Corporation Limited) of the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas.
He stated that MoUs of 13 projects have been signed, and Odisha has received an investment of Rs 8,96,686 crores. Majhi emphasised that it is a step towards making Odisha an industrial powerhouse.

Meanwhile, the Odisha Investors Summit was organised at the Taj Palace hotel in New Delhi, where MoUs related to several projects were signed in the presence of CM Mohan Charan Majhi, Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri, and Dharmendra Pradhan.
In his keynote address, Mohan Charan Majhi emphasized Odisha’s vision to emerge as a petrochemical and manufacturing hub.
He stated, “Today’s MoU with Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. is a landmark moment in Odisha’s industrial journey. It reflects not just a shared vision but a strong belief in the state’s potential to lead India’s petrochemical revolution from the east. The chief minister’s visit to the national capital featured productive one-on-one meetings with notable industry leaders from various sectors.
