Kushinagar (Uttar Pradesh) [India], May 24 (ANI): Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president JP Nadda on Friday slammed the opposition’s INDIA bloc, calling it ‘Ghamandiya Gathbandhan’. Nadda also claimed that the alliance is against SC, ST, and OBC communities.
“This Ghamandiya Gathbandhan is anti-Dalit, anti-ST, anti-SC, and anti-OBC because they want to appease Muslims by snatching their reservation. Babasaheb Ambedkar has also said that there will be no reservation on the basis of religion,” JP Nadda said.
The BJP chief was addressing a public rally in Uttar Pradesh’s Kushinagar in support of BJP candidate Vijay Kumar Dubey.
Nadda added, “In Andhra Pradesh, Congress tried it four times, in Karnataka, two times; and Mamta Banerjee gave OBC certificates to Muslims. Recently, the Calcutta High Court has given a verdict against reservation on the basis of religion and said that it is cancelling the reservations between 2010 and 2024.”
Stepping up his attacks, JP Nadda also called the alliance “Ram-virodhi, santan-virodhi, and rashtra-virodhi.”
Nadda also spoke about Uttar Pradesh and said how the state was known for ‘Mafia Raj.’ “Earlier, Uttar Pradesh was a stronghold of insecurity, anarchy, and mafia rule. Where our sisters and daughters were not safe, businessmen were migrating. Today, due to the blessings of Modi Ji and the hard work of Yogi Ji, the goons and mafia have been buried in the ground or are in jail, and the state is moving ahead on the path of peace and development,” he said.
Nadda also highlighted various development projects and works done under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath. He said, “Establishing an All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Gorakhpur and a medical college in Kushinagar was unimaginable. This has been possible due to the efforts of Yogi Adityanath and the blessings of Narendra Modi.”
He added, “When the button is pressed at the right place, one gets AIIMS, a medical college, highways, and an Agriculture Technical University. When the button is pressed at the wrong place, the honour of women comes in danger, businessmen have to migrate, and anarchy and injustice prevail.”
The BJP chief also hailed PM Modi and praised him for taking the decision of ‘lockdown’ and saving the lives of 140 crore Indians, and said, “No leader of the world was successful in fighting this biggest tragedy of the century, Corona. No country like America, Europe, Japan, etc. could make timely decisions. However, Prime Minister Modi took tough decisions and imposed a lockdown, made health-related arrangements, vaccines were prepared, and the safety of the countrymen was ensured… PM Modi said ‘Jaan hai to Jahan hai.'”
He added, “Even after the Covid-19 pandemic and the Russia-Ukraine war, India has reached the fifth spot from the 11th spot in the economy under the leadership of PM Modi. And now, you (people) have to make him PM for the third time so that India becomes the world’s third-largest economy.”
Kushinagar will go to polls in the last phase of the ongoing Lok Sabha elections on June 1. The results will be announced on June 4. (ANI)
